UK Autograph Signing FAQ

How send-in autograph bookings, item handling, costs and event-day restrictions work.

Once you book a slot for an event, you will receive a confirmation email containing our secure UK receiving address. We strongly recommend sending your items via a tracked, insured service. Please package your items carefully, particularly easily damaged goods like posters or fragile book dust jackets.

Item eligibility is set by each guest. Where configured for the event, the booking form can offer comic books, Funko Pops, movie props, posters, action figures and signed photographs. Only item types with a guest-specific price appear, so check the event page before posting an item.

The booking total is shown in GBP before payment and is itemised by guest. It can include the guest's signing fee, our service fee, your selected return postage and any optional add-ons. For eligible comic books, Fantasy Road grading or authentication may be offered as an optional route; availability, price and turnaround are shown or confirmed separately. You pay the cost of posting your item to us directly.

Book first, then send your item using the UK receiving address in your confirmation email. Check the event date and allow enough time for delivery before the signing; there is no single delivery deadline for every event. Contact us before booking if your item may arrive close to the event.

Yes. You can leave notes regarding pen color, signature placement, and personalization (e.g., "To David") during checkout. While we always do our best to accommodate these requests, please understand that at high-volume events, the creator sometimes dictates the pen or placement. We cannot guarantee specific customizations if the event staff or creator refuses.

If an event is fully canceled, or the specific creator you booked for pulls out, we will refund your booking fee (signing price + our service fee) in full. We will then return your item to you (you only pay for the return postage).

Yes, we work with collectors globally. Please ensure you select the appropriate international return postage option during checkout. Note that you are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes when sending the item to the UK and when it is returned to your country.

Absolutely. We do not use bots, scripts, or digital exploits. When a physical store limits items to "one per customer," we simply send multiple distinct individuals from our team to make legitimate, separate purchases. It is a physical proxy service, operating within the boundaries of normal retail transactions.

Items are stored in our secure facility. However, for extremely high-value items, we recommend you maintain your own collectibles insurance policy. Our liability during transit back to you is limited to the courier insurance tier you select at checkout, and is capped at the item value you declared on your booking.

Every booking is taken on the basis that you understand and accept the realities of in-person signing:
  • Signatures are not guaranteed. Creators may refuse to sign certain items, refuse personalisations, or limit how many items you can submit.
  • Creators may cancel. If a creator withdraws or no-shows, signing and service fees are refunded; outbound postage you already paid is not.
  • Ink quality may vary. Pen, colour, placement and line weight are decided on the day by the creator and event staff.
  • Grading & authentication availability may change. CGC grading and JSA authentication slots offered via Fantasy Road may be added or removed without notice.
  • Compensation limits. You declare your item's value at checkout. Our liability for loss or damage is capped at that declared value and your chosen courier insurance tier.
  • Shipping risks. Items in transit (both ways) are covered only by the courier insurance you select; claims are routed through the courier.
The full wording lives in our Terms of Service, which you accept when you complete a booking.

The declared value tells us (and the courier) what the item is genuinely worth to replace, so we can match it to an appropriate insurance tier and process any claim quickly. Compensation for loss or damage is capped at the declared value, so be honest — over-declaring inflates shipping costs, and under-declaring caps what you can recover.
